The Pekin Public Library is located at 301 S. Fourth Street, off of Broadway. Once in downtown Pekin, blue library signs will direct you to the library's exact location.
From the East and
South (155)
From
155 North - Take exit 25, Tremont exit (Route 9) and turn left. Follow
Route 9 into Pekin, where it turns into Court Street. At the light by McDonalds
turn left onto 10th Street. At the stop sign turn right, you are now on Washington
St. Follow Washington until you cross 4th Street. The next right is Capitol
St. Turn right and the entrance to our parking lot will be your right, at the
end of the block.
From 155 South- Take the Broadway Road exit and turn right. Follow Broadway into Pekin, until you reach the three-way stop at 4th Street. You will see the library on the corner. Continue straight through the intersection and immediately past the building turn left into our parking lot.
From the North

Take the IL-Route 29 exit (exit 9) towards Pekin/East Peoria. Turn
onto IL-Route 29 SOUTH toward Pekin. Once past Sheridan, stay to the right on
IL 29 S as it becomes 5th Street. Do not follow the signs for 29 anymore. At
a three-way stop you will turn right onto Broadway Road. The next stop sign
is a three way stop at 4th Street. You will see the library on the corner. Continue
straight through the intersection and immediately past the building turn left
into our parking lot.
From the East (Route
24)
Take Route 24 (through Bartonville) to Route 9 East. Cross the river
on Route 9 and at Fourth Street turn right. Follow Fourth Street to the three-way
stop. You will see the library on the corner. Turn right onto Broadway and immediately
past the building turn left into our parking lot.
