Central Illinois golfers know Pekin has plenty of courses for all skill levels, including two Park District courses. The oldest local course, Parkview, offers a challenging 18 holes. Lick Creek, which was ranked as one of the top 75 golf courses by Golf Digest Magazine, provides a greater challenge. Also open for public play is the 18-hole Sunset Hills Golf Club. The Pekin Country Club provides yet another option for Peoria area residents seeking a challenging layout.
