CONSUMER PRICE INDEX

The Consumer Price Index for the CPI-U (all urban consumers) and the CPI-W (all urban wage earners and clerical workers) increased 0.2% for the month of October. The C-CPI-U (chained all urban consumers) also increased 0.2% for the same time period. 

Increases for the year include 3.5% for the  CPI-U,  3.7% for the  CPI-W and 3.0% for the C-CPI-U.       

The United States City Average for all consumers--all items--for May~208.0;  June~208.4; July~208.3; Aug~207.9; Sept~208.5; Oct~208.9; Nov~210.2;  Dec~210.0.
