The Community Leadership Academy continued, with  tours of Midwest Generation-Powerton Station, Caterpillar and "6 Sigma," Excel Foundry, and Pekin Hospital.  Class sessions have been equally interesting, with presentations by the Pekin Public Schools, the Pekin Park District, the City of Pekin, Tazewell County,  and the Tazewell County courts.  The Dirksen Congressional Center (below) was the host for the discussion of Dirksen and civil rights legislation, and the Pekin Coalition for Equality.  See page 5 for more photos.
