Day 5: It was up early as usual. We left at 8am and traveled up highway 1 to Daytona Beach. At Daytona, cars can drive on the beach for about 12 miles. We decided to take a drive on the beach. We stopped and walked along the beach one last time. It was a long day of traveling. We had to go to Nashville, TN. The drive wasn't too bad until we were just south of Chattanooga, TN. We heard over the radio that the county we were in was in a Tornado Warning. We took the next exit and camped out under an overpass for about 40 minutes. Thunder, lightening, and rain was all around us. Luckily, the storm passed without any damage and we were on our way. This proved costly time wise. We arrived in Nashville at 12am and by the time we checked in it was 1am. Another short night!
