Knights  Have you ever wanted to know things about the medieval period, like about knights? Well here's your chance to find out.

Knights were not always guys, but women too. Some of the things that a knight might use to defend him/her self in battle were two-handed swords (up to 6 feet long!), jousting sticks, crossbows, longbows, axes, morning stars, war hammers, lances, pikes, and sometimes even horses!

Clothing could way up to 100 pounds! Here are a very few things they wore Actons to absorb shock, Chain mail on their arms, Gauntlets or gloves, Helmets, Leg mail, Plate armor, and they carried a Buckler or a small shield, and shields.

Did you ever wonder what knights did for fun? Well in their spare time they would joust, play chess, or do archery. Most knights lived in a castle, but some lived at home.

Knights used different horses for different things. A Jannet was used by women knights, a palfrey was used to travel, and a War horse was used in war. A knight's duties were to defend the King, Queen, and the Kingdom. Well that pretty much is all.
