Where we are:

• Mixed on whether technology is an add-on

• All teachers do not have easy access to all available technologies

 

Where we want to be:

• Teachers mentoring each other.
• Use new technologies in plans/units
• Presentation area to take whole class
• Recognize when technology is appropriate and when it is not
• More parent involvement and understanding of how we use technology

Actions necessary to get there:

• Continue providing examples of students using technology in various ways
• Provide in-school tech training for staff
• Communicate district vision and school vision to our staff
• Share what is already being done with everyone in our building
• Technology Fair having kids show what they've done and what they can do (Open House)
• Teachers sharing their use of technology during an inservice
