Actions necessary to get there:

Technology committee will be comprised of ’96 and ’97 pilot teachers and
Learning Center teacher and Writing to Read teaching assistant.

During school improvement days in September and October tech committee
will familiarize itself with School Vista bookshelf.
Resources necessary to get there:

Pilot teachers need release time to preview School Vista and align it with
the curriculum.

We have limited assessment of our technology curriculum.

We want to develop a rubric for assessment of a RAP project.

We plan to purchase new keyboarding software and investigate the purchase

We still have baseband operation with frequent freezes and no printing
capabilities in classrooms.

We want all teaching staff to use School Vista on ATM. We need two
other computers for the ’96 pilots. One 2nd grade classroom needs
to come on board now since the teacher is an ’98 pilot and does not have
5 computers on ATM network.
