What products did they create?

City of Pekin

Matt DeFrates redesigned the entire city website and also added new content related to the City's Water Study. Matt also added a WebBoard system that allowed the city clerk to easily post new city council notes on-line. In addition, Matt also provided web page training to city employees.

 

Chamber of Commerce

Mindy Diegel provided assistance with adding additional information to their organizations web site. Training was also provided to three staff members from the Chamber.

 

Dirksen Congressional Leadership Center

Justin Sangalli assisted in adding additional photos and information related to Everett Dirksen. Another student, Jacob Bland was responsible for redesigning the site and providing training for 2 of the Center's staff members.

 

Pekin School District 108

Jacob Bland and Matt DeFrates redesigned the school district's web site. In addition, they continued to maintain the site throughout the entire school year. At the end of the S.A.B.I.D. program, both Jacob and Matt were hired by the School District as part-time employees to maintain the web site.

 

Pekin.net

Jacob Bland redesigned and organized the community web site for the entire community of Pekin. Jacob, and Matt DeFrates will be redesigning the Pekin.net web site one more time during the summer of 2000 and will then provide training to the Chamber of Commerce so that they can take over the site.

 

CongressLink

Jacob Bland provided technical assistance in redesigned the CongressLink website. He also developed the various electronic forms and search engines that the site uses.

 

Marigold Festival Web Site

Pekin's largest festival, the Marigold Festival, takes place one a year. Jordan Ault designed and built the first ever web site for the Marigold Festival, which is sponsered by the Chamber of Commerce.

 

Virtual Tour of Pekin

Designed and built by Jordan Ault, the virtual tour provides visitors with a pictoral view of the many locations within our community.

 

Tazewell County State's Attorney

Tim Bearden and Mindy Diegel assisted with redesigning the homepage for Tazewell County and also did additional development for the County State's Attorney.

 

Agriculture/Horticulture Group

Both Justin Sangalli and Jacob Bland provided training and technical support for the local Agriculture group that posts information

 

Pekin Park District

Tim Bearden and Mindy Diegel designed and developed the first ever web site for the Pekin Park District. In addition, they provided training for the Park District's webmaster. Since Tim's redesign the page is under current construction
