Wilson Dedication and Open House
A Dedication Ceremony was held on August 26, 2001 for the new Wilson Intermediate School. The community was honored by the presence of Ms. Penny Collier, daughter of Fern R. Wilson. Principal Linda Harris, Superintendent Perry Soldwedel, Board President Larry Brees, Architect Jim Lemon, and Contractor Bob Hoerr also made remarks at the ceremony. After the ribbon cutting, community members were able to take a tour of the new facility. Check out the features of this new facility, and some photos/videos of the tour.

  • Capacity 800 Students
  • Enrollment for 2001-2002: 650 Students
  • Building is nominated for an Architectural Award given by the Illinois Association of School Boards.
