Elementary Schools Celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday
Each of the elementary schools in District 108 were treated to a skit of "The Cat in the Hat", as performed by a group of students from Pekin High School Student Council. This event was part of a statewide activity known as "Students Leading to Literacy" (Illinois Association of Student Councils), and a nationwide event known as "Read Across America" (National Education Association).
