Day 3 - The Big Day
It was another early morning for the DI team as they arrived on campus to perform their prepared skit. The groups' problem is called "Live, It's RaDIo." Their challenge was to create a story that can be told without pictures. The Pekin team prepared a skit about saving the world and traveling through time, and includes a commercial for "Subject Supplements."

Alex: Friday we woke up at around 6:30, it was the big day. We were doing our preformence at 10:00. We did a great job and by our standards it was our best preformence yet. Afterwards we went to trade pins and eat. Then we went to a new spot on the campus where there was some serious pin trading going on. I got a hand made doll that kids from guatemala made. We traded pins forever and then went back to the hotel where we ate pizza and had a little wing-ding. I met some fun kids from Missouri and talked with them for a while. It was a fun and relieving day because we were done with preforming.

Ben: Today was an awesome day to be in Tennessee!! First we woke up at about 6:30 and got on the road. When we got to campus we got our props and everything and we probably performed the best skit of our life!! After that we went to the convention center and traded pins with a ton of kids. Then we went back to the hotel and ate, played baseball, and partied!!! At the party Mary was definitely the main attraction. She created a "dance" like none other before her. It was extremely funny!!! And besides that, we made a lot of cool new friends.

Joe: We had a wake up call for 6:30!!!!!! We were hungry so we went to go get breakfast for free. Then we were on the road again. We had to take our props to the room on campus. After that we went to go watch other peoples' performance to see what we were up against. Finally we had to perform our own skit which is about an astroid that is supposed to hit the earth. We probably did our best skit ever. After that we went to the convention center and traded pins with other people around the world. There were hundreds of people in that room trading pins. Finally it was lunch time so we went back to the holtel for the rest of the day. After we ate some of us played hot box out side. Then it was wingding time. There were pizza, drinks, and candy. There was a Dj with music and lights. Ben showed everybody up on dancing until Mary came along with her kangaroo dance. Then it was lights out. I had a Awesome day.
