FLOW CHART

WHAT IS IT?

A flow chart shows a picture of any process, sequence of events, steps, activities, or tasks that transform inputs into outputs in a system.

 

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

WHEN IS IT USED?

  1. A picture of the process is beneficial
  2. students need to sequence the steps of an activity

HOW IS IT MADE?

  1. Decide what you want to flowchart.
  2. Determine the beginning and ending of the process.
  3. Observe the process in operation.
  4. List the major steps.
  5. Draw the flow chart using the appropriate symbols.
  6. Study the flow chart. Try it out to see if it is correct.
