School Mission: Edison Junior High School, recognizing the unique needs of the adoles-
cent, is committed to developing students who are enthusiastic, life-long learners by requiring them to take a responsible, active role in their own education, home, and community through diverse learning experiences.

Edison Objectives:

To increase overall student achievement as measured by state and local assessment programs.
To increase in quality and quantity supportive relationships between and among students, staff, home and community.

STRATEGIES:

1. We will define and assess a curriculum that guarantees increased student achievement.
2. We will create a learning environment that motivates both student and teacher.
3. We will implement alternative programs to meet the needs of all students.
4. We will create means to improve and personalize in-school relationships.
5. We will create means to improve and personalize relationships between our school and our home / school community.
6. We will develop an immediate and long-range plan to make our facility conducive to learning.
