Description
|
Demonstrate
an ability to use a grade appropriate web site
for a small activity with your whole class utilizing
one computer and your presentation monitor. The
activity does not have to be directly related
to your curriculum. For example…
- News
site – Find a news site and use it to discuss
current events
- Weather
site – Find a weather site to discuss current
weather
- Local
web sites – Find local web site that’s
of interest to students.
- Special
events – Find a web site to compliment
something like fire safety week, Olympics, etc.
- Virtual
Field Trip – Find a web site that provides
a virtual field tour of a location that the
students would not otherwise be able to visit.
To
complete this objective, select one of the activities
(or something similar) and submit a summary of
the activity that shows your ability to use the
Internet for a classroom activity. Also submit
the URL for the web site that was used in the
activity. |
