| Q. |
What
happens if we turn in more than 10 web sites? |
| A. |
Great!
That won't be a problem. 10 web sites is just an
arbitrary figure, we hope to get at least 10 web
sites in each area. If you find 10 web sites right
away and have extra time, please look for extra
web sites that have lesson plans, activities, or
Internet projects. |

|
| Q. |
How
long will it take Brian to complete our web site? |
| A. |
Depending
on how many sites are turned in, it may take a couple
of days or as long as a week. You'll be able to
watch on the Internet as the site is being built,
just visit http://www.pekin.net/pekin108/tech/internet |

|
| Q. |
If
we find a web site that contains lesson plans for
many different grade levels, what should we do?
|
| A. |
Notifiy
the other grade level(s) of the address, but let
them decide if they want it listed. |
|
|
| Q. |
What
happens if we can't find 10 QUALITY web sites
tonight that are related to a particular category? |
| A. |
You
should submit extra sites during the week after
so we can reach the 10 desired. We want to stress
quality over quantity and it could take additional
time. |
|
|
| Q. |
Is
there a limit to the number of categories that we
can use? |
| A. |
Yes,
it would be ideal to have only 4 to 6 different
categories per grade level. |
|
|
| Q. |
Why
aren't there any links for art, music, or other
curriculum areas..... |
| A. |
Since
the '96 pilot program did not include exploratory
teachers, we won't concentrate on links in their
curriculum areas. |
|
|
| Q. |
Can
we turn in extra websites after todays class? |
| A. |
Yes,
for a one week period after this assignment, you
can email them to babeling@pekin.net.
After the one week period, additional sites will
not be added. |
