| Team 7B was happy to have Mr. John Stump talk with them about the legal system. Mr. Stump is an attorney and spoke with the students about their Mock Trial unit that they are doing in Social Studies. The students prepared questions and were very interested in the process of actually taking a case to trial. Team 7B is currently reading a book called, "Tituba" in Language Arts classes and then working on the Mock Trial in Social Studies. The unit is under the direction of student teachers, Ms. Wagenbach and Ms. Gentile. |
| Mrs. Nelson divided her 8th Grade Social Studies class into three groups and did stations on the topic of WWII. Mr. Kerley worked with the students on a vocabulary quiz, Mr. Turner worked with his group on reading about WWII, and Mrs. Nelson showcased artifacts from both WWI and WWII that belonged to her grandfather. The kids had a great time and really learned a lot about the war. |
