Minutes of the Broadmoor Instructional Leadership Team Meeting convened on September 5, 2001

Members present: Bill Heisel, Jill Roepenack, Steve Jans, Pam Nelson, Candace Walrath, Mrs. Addy, Paul Baker, Greg Fairchild & Jeff Nelson

Greg informed the Team of our intention to use profits from last year’s concessions to purchase Broadmoor shirts for the faculty and staff. The team received information on the fund raiser, The Kick-off is Tuesday 09.11.01 and it ends on 09.25.01. The Mega-event is scheduled for Friday 12.21.01. A little information was disseminated on student Id’s.

Jeff spoke to the Team about the District Quality Assurance visit. He made the Team aware of the Koality Kids Self Assessment Guide. The Guide is used to help bring structure to the Quality Assurance Process by asking questions and seeking data to support key school improvement performance indicators. Finally, Jeff spoke about the need to bring our committee work under a school improvement model that is goal directed and performance assessed. He is seeking help to train the Committee chairs and monitor the goal setting process.

Bill lead the Team through the first Kolaity Kid activity and the results are presented below. The meeting was debriefed and adjourned at 4:10.
