How to Maintain a Proper
Trail
-
1st rebuild the trail with the
proper outslope
-
2nd build drain-drips or water
bars out of either wood or rock to divert water away from the trail
-
The trail should have a gentle
out-slope and the out-side edge should be two inches lower than the inside
edge.
-
If the trail is to eroded
from over-use and heavy water damage, we need to consider building raised
trail structures as turn-pikes or puncheon bridges.
