7B~In math, students are doing prime factorization, least common multiple, and greatest common factor. They're getting ready to start geometry. In science, the students are learning about atoms. They've been reading Tituba of Salem Village, and learning about the Salem Witch Trials in Language and Social Studies. They have also been studying the Thirteen Colonies and every Wednesday, they work on a map of the middle east.

7J~In language, students have been working on expository writing and have been doing examples in class. They had a few guest speakers stop by. Officer Bitner and John Stump (Mrs. Stump's husband) dropped by to give their input. For math, the students are solving equations with fractions, and after they finish that they'll be working with percents and proportions. In Mr. Heisel's class, students are getting ready to do a lab experiment about bubble gum. Mr. VonBehren is ready to start the Revolutionary War unit.

8H~In language arts, Mrs. Nevius' class is finishing expository writing and they are allowed to upgrade. In reading, they are beginning the book Chernowitz, which is about a Jewish boy who gets bullied. Finally, when they are done, they are going to tie it in with Anne Frank. In science, they are just finishing the book, Island of the Blue Dolphins. In math, they are working on equations. Mr. Walrath's social studies class is learning about WWII.

8S~In Mrs. Wicker's first hour class, they are working on the school newspaper and all of the classes just finished reading Flowers for Algernon. Science class is learning about chemistry. Algebra class is working on direct variation. Her other hours are working on finding area. In social studies, students are finishing WWII.

Stephanie Blatt~"I'd keep it all the same!"

Nikki Pullum~"Blue and yellow and we should be the eagles."

Kim Childress~"Red and yellow and Spongebob should be the mascot."

Abbey Thompson~"Pink and white and we should be the flamingos!"

Danielle Brown~" Blue and white and the crusaders--it's a cool name."

Jeff Murray~"I'd keep it the same!"

Stephanie Blatt~" It should be blue or silver and our mascot should be the wolf!"

Zack Curless~"They should be pink and purple and our mascot should be the tooth fairy!"
