Dear Parent of an Honor Student:

It is with pride that we acknowledge your son’s academic accomplishments with the enclosed Broadmoor decal. We hope you will proudly display the decal on the family automobile, and take a few minutes to share this pride with your son.

I would ask that you point out the wording on the decal. Note that your son is an honored student, honored not just for good grades but honored for his unique contribution to Broadmoor Junior High School. This unique contribution comes in many forms and talking to your son about how his personality compliments his high academic ability may provide a special family moment.

We at Broadmoor know that success in school is the product of many people working hard on behalf of children. I would hope you would take a little time for yourself and reflect on your good fortune for your loving efforts have truly translated into a wonderful student and citizen of Broadmoor Junior High School.
