Edit writing. All written material needs to be able to be understood by the person reading. Too much has been ignored by writing to read.
Is test data valid after only one year? How can students in 8th grade find the point of view (96%) when only 61% understand what they read? 8th Grade L. Arts
801, 802, 806, 810 are very important
       
Students understand what they read in 7th more than in 8th. These results are from "I Can Do It Sheets?" Only 1 teacher decides these standards. 709 results showed to be higher because it is closely related to the others. Could be that the test question needs to be looked at for 709. 7th Grade L. Arts
They all deal with reading comprehension except 718 and 719
       
7th Grade appears to be ahead of 8th grade in Language Arts. How can students have mastered at 82%, 91%, 96%, etc. reading strategies, yet only 60-61% understand what they read? Does not make sense. *Improve understanding of the material
