"Snowman" "Boarding"
In December you can build a big snowman,
After the snow has fallen.
When you get to feel the coldness against your skin.
You know it's winter.
The building of the snowman then looks almost like it's real.
To let people know its winter it turns bitter cold.
After you go inside there is a cup of warm hot chocolate.
For what is your favorite pastime?
For you can do it in the sand, on a sidewalk, or in the snow.
For my favorite pastime is snowboarding.
For I can nosegrab, tailgrab, and flip.
For maybe I am just fibbing.
For maybe I don't even own a board.
For maybe all I know is the name of the sport.

"The Birth of Christmas" "The Bear and the Mouse"
Inside the barn, from the inn of Bethlehem
Among the child, gazes a star
Out of the window, the city sleeps peacefully
On the floor, a cradle of hay sits
Upon the child, his mother and father look on their son
Beside the man, a wooden post holds the ceiling
Above the child, he feels his mother's face
Because of this moment, this day will be celebrated for years to come.
In the blue of the night
Near by there becomes a sudden fright
For the little bear knows the mouse has a nose
Throughout the little home the smell would most definitely be known
Though upon the table the mouse would still know
But with the bear nearby, he lost sudden hope
Down in his little home he worked up a hoax
To steal those yummy cookies
From right under the bears nose
Without hesitation he dashed to the table
But to his surprise the cookies were all gone
Since he thought for so long
Underneath the tree he could see the bear laughing
For he knew where the cookies went
Right in the bears tummy.

"Star Light Ride" "My Happy Holiday"
In the sky little lights twinkle so brightly
Around the horse and buggy snow fell quickly
Across the land the snow covered the grass
Near the buggy the horse will pass
On the ground there are steady tracks
The buggy has the name of Jacks
Outside the buggy you read Merry Christmas with a wreath on the side
But only five can ride.
Beside the puppy dog is a Christmas tree.
Behind the tree is a window.
In the fireplace is a fire.
Underneath on the tree, there are presents.
On the tree there are ornaments.
Around the fireplace there is a rug.
Beyond the window, snow is falling.

"Checking His List" "Mickey Mouse Christmas"
In his office, Santa checks his list.
Across his paper, he checks for a Christmas wish.
Beside his book, a teddy bear sits.
Onto his book he writes, something that I can't read.
Outside, the moon so silently sits.
Beyond, the stars are scattered in bits.
After Santa checks his list, he will deliver his Christmas gifts.
Below Mickey is a sidewalk.
Behind Mickey is a street light.
Above Mickey is a moon in the sky.
Around the moon are stars.
On Mickey's shoulder is a bag of toys.
In the bag is Pluto, Mickey's dog.
Upon Mickey's head is a Santa hat.

"The Mouse" "My Christmas Poem"
On top of the dresser is a mouse.
Upon the dresser a mouse lights a candle with a match.
Near the mouse is a lamp.
Below the mouse are two drawers.
Because of the mouse the candle is lit.
Behind the mouse is a white wall.
Under the mouse is a candle holder.
Behind the mama duck,
her baby duckling follows close by.
Beside the mama duck and baby duckling,
There is a range of mountains.
On this particular day snow is falling,
but the sun is still shining.
At the edge of the mountains,
there are trees near by.
With every step the ducks take,
the snow goes crunch under their feet.
Around the duck's necks,
There are bows to keep their necks warm.
Between each mountain,
snow lays with a powdery glow.
