"Under the Christmas Tree"

Christmas morning had come again
The sad time for Joe was about to begin
Beside the tree, Joe would lay,
Around the tree he would go
He and his brother to and fro
Until the day when fun happened mo more
the Christmas Morn that was a bore

No presents had been lying under the tree
No reason to cause the children glee
Under the tree lay only one thing
A letter from Santa that would never sing
Why had Santa not given any gifts?
What did they do to deserve this?
Then they knew what they did
They had forgotten about the kid named Sid

Sid was the kid that lived down the street
He lived in a dumpster with nothing to eat
Down to the dumpster they would go
In hopes of finding the kid that would really know
What the true meaning of Christmas was
What Santa really does
In  the dumpster they did find
The kid named Sid sitting O' so kind

Upon the father the child did say
"What is the true meaning of this very day?"
Did simply said "Come inside and you will see,
What Christmas really means to me"

So they climbed in the dumpster and to their surprise
Sid was willing to make a compromise
"I will tell you what is the bid deal"
"If you will let me share your Christmas meal"
"Of course! Why not?"
"This can't be a scary plot?"
So they took Sid home to share their meal
And Sid told them what was the big deal
He told them about his life
All he got for Christmas was a knife
And to the family's surprise
Sid was homeless because of his father's demise

That Christmas night was one of good times
Sid stayed to share the family's food and limes
The kid named Sid was very nice
He would even ask if he could use their rice
The joyous night had come to an end
The family asked Sid to stay and spend
The night with the family until they could find
A permanent home for Sid O' Kind

They found a home for the kid named Sid
Thanking the family that he did
Thinking back on that Christmas day
Joe remembers how great of a stay
The kid named Sid really had
Sid would finally have a new dad

And that's where our story comes to an end
I hope you enjoyed the time you did spend
Reading my poem, you are so kind
I hope you forever keep my poem in mind

"Forgotten Snowwomen"

In a quiet town on Chestnut Lane,
there was a lonely snowwomen named Jane.
Her old hat was worn,
and her lonely heart was torn.

Throughout the streets the children played,
oh she wished her friends had stayed.
But they were far, far from here,
the children Jane had loved so dear.

For the days were winding,
and the sun was blinding.
Melting, melting her away.

Finally, one warm day,
Jane's children came back to play.
Unfortunately, it was too late,
with warm weather near, melting was her fate.

Not to say Jane's friends forgot,
all the wonderful things she had taught.
Of sharing, playing, and good times gone by,
she is in their memories and that will never die.

"Mickey Mouse"

Over the hill I heard a loud noise
Off in the distance I saw Mickey with Christmas toys
Behind him in his sleigh
I saw Pluto, who knew it was Christmas day
Coming near
The jingling bells was all I could hear
I heard a noise from above
And knew it was Mickey bringing lots of love
Inside the house he found the decorated tree
And knew this Christmas would be the best it could be
Under the tree Mickey lay the gifts down
He knew the little kids would wake up with more than a frown

"Christmas Mouse"

Beyond Africa and Asia,
Past the Philippines and past Malaysia,
At the tip top of the world were there's always snow,
Santa Claus lies sick in his bed, Oh No!

"What will we do?" An elf soberly cried.
I'll deliver the gifts a mouse said with great pride.
Despite the size oft he little old mouse,
He hopped on the sleigh and he left the house.

Inside his first stop the mouse filled the tree,
A boy came down the stair and said, "Hi, I'm Lee."
The mouse jumped with great fear from the voice of the boy.
Before the mouse could run away, the boy yelled "oh joy!"

The mouse said, "What is it? Why must you yell?"
"I'm afraid of the dark! Can't you tell?
"Well let me light my candle so you can see,"
"Oh thank you Mr. Mouse. Oh joy, whoopee!"

"A Christmas Eve with the Christmas Angels"

Under the Christmas tree three angels pray.
Bowing their heads they begin to say
"God bless us all. Merry Christmas, Lord let us have a ball!"

Once again they bowed their heads,
But this time one looked up and said,
"Let us open our presents. To the top of the tree!"

Up they rose toward the Christmas tree light.
Their faces filled with incredible delight.

Above the Hark Angels,
Near the Christmas star.
All three were joyous, the gifts were not far.

After they opened their presents they went to sing.
Their hearts were jumping with holiday fling!

"A New Puppy"

Near the woods, across the lake,
In a house that looks like a white cake.
Sits a new little puppy with a bow on her head,
Waiting for the children to get out of bed.
She closes her pretty blue eyes,
Sadly whimpers, and sighs.
For there is no one to come and play,
On this new Christmas day.
Except one little cry of baby she hears,
Now in the puppy's eyes are tears.
Through the house the cry is heard,
And the family wakes like a bright morning bird.
The kids run through the house searching for presents,
While mom and dad are working like peasants.
Cooking breakfast mom and dad hear,
A new little puppy with the Christmas cheer.
The kids had gotten what they had reasoned,
A new little puppy arrived in the spirit of the season.

"Over the Hills"

Over the hills and far away
Lonely, bored, gloomy, and gray
Toward the starlight sky
Sleep three little children beginning to cry.
Without any hesitations
Their mother said no decorations,
For they had misbehaved all year long
So they lay their heads down awaiting for dawn.
Up in the air without any despair
Santa came down from up in the air,
Down the chimney he flew
To give the boy a new choo-choo.
Underneath the tree presents galore,
Among these presents is a mop for mommy dearest to clean the floor.
:Leaving yet two dollies
For Hollie and Mollie,
He hurried up the chimney with a dash
Hoping not to make a big clash.
Away Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
On Comet on Cupid on Donner and Blitzen
Yelled the jolly old man,
Who needed a tan.
Away they flew through the air,
As the little boy woke to sit and stare.
The poor man left and said with a jolly glare,
"Goodnight to all I'll see you next year."
As for the little boy's family they all woke up too,
Looking for presents not knowing what to do.
Mommy said, "This is pure luck for these presents here,
Don't misbehave or he won't come next year!"
