Santa's Flight
by: Cody Jablonski
Above the clouds
Across the sky
Through the air
Santa flies
For tonight, the magic night,
Each girl and boy has hopes and dreams
To awake to presents filled with joy
Toward the chimney, the reindeer guide
Through the chimney Santa glides
Rustling around Santa's stuck
A burning fire to burn his butt.

Snowflakes
by: Joelle Schramm
One, two, three
They fall
All around
Down, down down
Up in the sky
To laying on the ground
In the trees
Over the grass
Pile on each other
On the roofs
Below the roofs
Everywhere
they are there
Snowflakes.

The King of Christmas
by: Stephanie Blatt
Withour a stifled cry, he opens his eyes
For the first time his face aglow
With determined will and waiting
"Til his destiny to lead his kingdom
To the heavenly light
Is fulfilled"
Upon his tiny fingertips does he feel the warmth and love
Of the virgin Mary holding him tight
With a loving vow that will never be forsaken
For Jesus the Lord who gave his life for us
The woes that we carry will soon be conquered
By his love for us all
So give him praise o' heart of mine
During this wonderful Christmas time.

The Christmas Tree
by: Tom Blanchard
Within the frozen ice land of Greenland
we walked
Around the frozen forest of our land
Among the other pine trees
We found our perfect Christmas tree
During the cold frost bitin' weather
Beneath the tree I chopped
There fell our beautiful Christmas tree
Down on the ground it was
Through the snowy forest we dragged our tree home
Our snowy covered house was right in the clearing
With all the Christmas spirit.

Holiday Blessings
by: Jill Thomas
After the day is gone
Before the morning dawns
On the table there sits
Three lit candlesticks
May your holidays be lit with peace and love
As these candles light the room
Past the Christmas cheer
Towards the New Year
These candles shall stay lit
Between joyous shopping trips
May these little candles bring
Holiday blessings to you.

Snowman
by: Tyler Bundy
When winter snow falls
to the ground
Kids frowns turn upside down
Before they can go outside they have to put on warm clothes and
a jacket
Until then, they can't make all kinds of racket
By the time they get all bundled up ready to play
There will still be plenty of time to make a snowman today
Around and around they pack and pack
Thinking of what he might lack
On goes the buttons for his eyes
Beside the fact they are all a different size
On his head goes a scarf and hat
Making him look kind of fat.

True Meaning of Christmas
by: Alicia Bays
Across the field of snow there stands
a house
Full of love, light, and holiday decorations
Everything a house should have at Christmas time
Inside this house there is a family whose love for one another shows
Within their heart there is a chest full of Christmas spirit
During the winter storms, the snow continuously blows
In the window you can see candlelight buring
A light that represents the true meaning of Christmas
Around the town you see people spreading Christmas bliss
Like the cardinal perched on the windowsill, everyone is hurrying
about to perform their yearly routine
Beyond teh church and the town a blanket of virgin white snow can
be seen
Beneath the tree there lay tons of presents
This is teh time to spread Christmas cheer.
