Washington Construction Highlights
The 1929 addition of Washington School is slated to be completed by December 21, 2000. The renovation project calls for:

1. Enlarging and updating 18 classrooms
   
2. Re-working electrical and plumbing infrastructure to improve aesthetic and functionality
   
3. Renovation of the Hackler auditorium
   
4. Renovation of the district technology center
   
5. Providing for a new heating and air conditioning system
   
6. Providing for technology infrastructure to all classrooms
   
7. Meeting life safety requirements and becoming handicapped accessible with an installation of a elevator and other requirements

Please look for and attend our re-dedication/open house activities to be scheduled for early 2001.

Construction Updates

Wilson Construction Highlights
The Wilson campus will triple in size with the completion of an 80,000 square foot addition. This project boasts the latest in educational facility planning. The project calls for:

1. 32 large classrooms with flexibility to include movable walls
   
2. Cafeteria, gymnasium, art room, music room
   
3. Electronic information/ learning center
   
4. Floor mounted data and electrical outlets with five computer stations in each classroom
   
5. Air conditioning
   
6. Space to accommodate up to 800 students
