My
responsibilities for this year include:
Working
with children:
- Teach
two children at Willow School daily
Working
with teachers:
- Teach
a training class of 10 in Galesburg (Tuesday nights 3:20-6:20)
- Teach
a training class of 10 in Pekin (Monday nights 3:30-6:30)
- Conduct
at least 4-6 school visits per teacher in training during
the school year to provide guidance and instructional assistance
- Provide
14 trained teachers with 6 on-going professional development
meetings
- Conduct
at least one school visit per trained teacher (more upon
request) to provide guidance and instructional assistance
Research:
- Collect
and submit student data and submit this data to NDEC
- Prepare
an annual site report in June
- Prepare
a local long term study using ISAT data
Professional
Development:
- Present
at the annual Illinois Reading Recovery conference
- Participate
in professional development meeting for Teacher Leaders
