My number one goal is to continue working with children and use the skills I have learned throughout the PDS program and ISU courses, as a basis of instruction.  I would hope to obtain a teaching position in at an elementary or junior high level.

As a long term goal, I hope to continue growing as a teacher.  I feel that teachers are never done learning.  There are always new techniques and strategies to learn.  I know that as I become more experienced, I will see more and more of what works best and I will strive to become a teacher who excels.

  Continuing my education is also an important goal of mine.  I would like to receive my masters degree in education or reading.  I am highly interested in strategies that develop students' literacy, and I would love to learn more about this and even specialize in this someday.
