My name is Aarti Goel.  I was born and raised in Skokie, Illinois.  Currently, I live with my wonderful family in Burr Ridge, Illinois.  I come from an extended family and live with both my parents, my grandpa, my brother and sister-in-law, and soon a niece or nephew!  I also have one sister who lives in Chicago with her husband.  I am very close to my family and love spending my free time with them!

I am currently a senior at Illinois State University and will be graduating this May with a degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in math, social sciences, and language arts.  I am also involved in the Pekin Professional Development School (PDS), a year long student teaching internship.  This past year has provided me with a wonderful student teaching experience, but I am really looking forward to starting my career as a teacher!
