I believe the main goal of a successful educator is to foster a love of learning in students in a positive and engaging classroom environment.    This belief is achieved by providing students with a classroom in which they may feel safe and free to explore their ideas.  As a future educator, I will strive to plan lessons that reach the needs of students and make learning fun!

In order to motivate children and encourage a love of learning in them, lessons must provide students with a relational understanding of how concepts affect and apply to their own lives.  I will use situational and hands on opportunities to enhance the classroom experiences of my students whenever possible.

I believe that in order to reach the needs of all my students, I need to account for all the different ways children learn through their multiple intelligences.  By providing students with a wide range of activities, students will be able to explore their talents and strengths, and thus feel successful.
