I was nervous about starting a teaching career and knowing if I would be ready or not. I feel that this program has helped me grow as an educator and I believe that I am ready for my own classroom. I know that my first year will not be a perfect year, but I feel much more confident about it.

           My mentor, Lea Ann Juska, was an inspiration to me and I will stay in contact with her for a very long time. She taught more than I ever imagined and I will keep that with me through the years.  My last day of school really showed me how much I meant to those second graders and my mentor. They are an amazing group and I will never forget them. As I reach the end of my student teaching experience I feel more prepared to leave college and take on the next challenges of my teaching career.
