Looking back on this past year, I cannot imagine what my student teaching experience would have been like without the Pekin Professional Development School.  I am grateful for having the opportunity to be a part of such a beneficial program that has prepared me for my own classroom and taught me that persistence pays off. 

 

There are so many people in District 108 that are to thank for help making me the teacher that I have become!  Among those people, I feel that my mentor teacher and professional liaisons are to thank considerably for their faith and support.  I could have not been placed in a better school district, school building and classroom for my student teaching experience. 

I believe that everything happens for a reason and from this experience I will use the knowledge and skills that I have gained wherever my career leads me.
