My name is Jennifer Mollo and I am intern in the 2006 Pekin Professional Development School.

I decided to embark on the journey of becoming a teacher when I was in high school. I had a teacher who inspired me and made me realize what an impact I could make on the lives of so many people. For a long time, I wanted to be a high school english teacher like her, but then I found my niche in directing children's theatre....

Once I started working with large groups of small children in the theatre, I decided that I wanted to teach younger children.

In my professional development experience, I confirmed that niche for teaching younger children, as I student taught in second grade and loved every minute of it!
