My name is Leah Tangye and I will be graduating from Illinois State University and Pekin Professional Development School in May 2006! I am from Rockton, Illinois. My family is very important to me and I am lucky to have such loving and supportive parents! My family includes: my mom, Terese, my dad, Rob, my brother, Travis, and my yellow lab, Lucky.

    I have always wanted to be a teacher, so the decision to attend ISU, a great teaching school, was an easy one! I also have had such a rewarding experience in the PDS program this past year. My mentor teacher, Laurie Bauer, was such a great inspiration and friend to me!

    I enjoy playing softball and sand volleyball, swimming, and attending concerts and plays.
