I am a determined and enthusiastic educator that believes that all students have the opportunity to become successful life long learners. I enjoy making learning fun so that I engage my students so they are eager to learn. I also believe it is important to create a creative and welcoming environment where students feel safe to take academic risks in the classroom.

  I have high expectations of my students because I want all of my students to learn at the best of their ability. I believe it is important to teach the whole child and to include differentiated instruction in my lessons because all students learn differently. My instruction includes a variety with small group, individual, whole class, and lessons that appeal to the different learning intelligences. Lastly, I believe the community and parents play a crucial role in a child's life. Therefore, I feel it is very important to keep the parents and community involved in the classroom.
