My name is Morgan Belcher. I have lived in North Pekin, IL my entire life. After graduating from Pekin Community High School in May 2002, I moved to Normal, IL to attend Illinois State University. At Illinois State University, I have been working hard for the last four years to obtain my Bachelors of Science in Education. I will be graduating from Illinois State University in May 2006 with middle school endorsements in Reading, Language Arts and Social Sciences.

 

During my senior year at Illinois State University, I participated in the Pekin Professional Development School with Pekin School District 108.  During this time, I was fortunate enough to be completely immersed in a primary school during a year long internship.

 

I have always enjoyed working with children. From babysitting to working in classrooms and volunteering, I love to help children learn and grow.  I recently completed my student teaching in a kindergarten classroom at Starke School. I love that each day in the classroom was new and exciting. I am pleased to have been able to work with children and help each one begin their journey as life long learners.
