My name is Michelle Madeck. I am from Arlington Heights, Illinois where I attended South Middle School and Rolling Meadows High School. I continued my education at Illinois State University where I recently graduated from with a bachelors in Science degree in Elementary Education. While attending ISU, I was given the opportunity to participate in Pekin's year-long Professional Development School during my last year of college for student teaching. During this time I was able to be a dual placement intern where I taught 4th grade as well as 7th and 8th grade Mathematics and Social Studies. Both were a wonderful experience for me.
There are many words that i can use to describe myself. Some may say that I am very outgoing as well as organized, creative, and caring. I have a passion for teaching due to my love for children. I have had many past experiences with children that have proven to me that this is the career for me. From working as a swim-instructor to teaching basketball at my local park district, my experiences with children have always been positive!
