Pekin Professional Development School

 

I have chosen to participate in Pekin Professional Development School year long internship.  Participating in Pekin P.D.S. gave me the opportunity to work in a second grade classroom and a fourth grade classroom for a full year. 

 

The benefits from the Pekin P.D.S. are overwhelming.  I chose to participate in the program because of the following reasons:

• Planning and implementing standards based instruction
• Collaborating with other staff members
• Implementing lessons with diverse learners
• Implementing and creating a classroom management plan
• Technology rich environment 

 

Participating in Pekin P.D.S. has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
