There are many words that can be used to describe me. Some of them are: mom, wife,  daughter, sister, student, and teacher.  Each of these roles I play are an important part of who I am and the kind of educator I want to be.

I grew up in Central Illinois and after a short journey south returned to the area with my husband and daughter. I spent 10 years in the banking field and after adding another daughter to our family, I decided I needed to make a change.  I left banking and returned to college to become a teacher!

When I am not at school I can be found playing games with my daughter, softball with my husband, or flyball with my border collie.
