I feel extremely fortunate to have participated in this program.  I feel that had I not decided to become a PDS intern, I would not be as prepared as I am today to become a teacher.  In this program, I have learned and experienced different situations that all teachers go through that I might not have learned if I had not gone through this program.

This program at times can be very intense.  However, despite all of the challenges that come along with this program, I feel that I am ready to face my new set of challenges of becoming a first year teacher and starting my own classroom.  I know that I would not be as ready to face these new challenges if I had not had the opportunity to experience the Pekin PDS.
