As an educator, I believe it is my responsibility to create life long learners.  To achieve this goal, I need to recognize that every student will come into my classroom with his or her own unique experiences.  I need to embrace the differences in my classroom and use those unique qualities to help each student thrive and grow. 

Also it is my goal to create a positive and empowering environment, which fosters creativity, thus allowing the students to see and reach their highest potentials.  This can be reached through implementing a variety of instructional strategies and engaging hands on activities to explore.

Lastly, I want to be a positive influence in my students life.  Children need a role model who will be supportive, inspiring, caring, and encourage them to succeed in all that they do.  I then hope for all my students to leave my classroom with a love for learning that will continue throughout their lives.
