Reflections

My career aspiration four years ago was to become an elementary educator.  I have achieved this goal by working hard and persevering thorough the unthinkable.  I have discovered that you need to be morally, intellectually, and emotionally stable to be a successful educator and a good role model.  Through all my experiences I have three important virtues that I will be sure to master in my classroom.  They include: respect for learners of all ages, with special regard for children and adolescents, knowledge and appreciation of diversity among learners, and understanding what affects learning and appropriate teaching strategies.

After completing four years of college I feel I am ready to have my own classroom.  I am confident that I have prepared for whatever might happen.  I know in my heart I’m ready to tackle the task of becoming an elementary educator.  I loved children before I started this process and now I love them even more!  Kids are an inspiration and I want to inspire them to do their very best and not limit their goals, and to reach for the stars.
