My name is Jessica (Jessi) Rassi.  I grew up in East Peoria.  I currently live in Metamora.   After graduating from Metamora Township High School, I atteneded Illinois Central College for two years.  I then went on to attend Illinois State University.  In May of 2007 I will graduate from ISU.

One of my greatest passions is singing.  I particularly love to sing Southern Gospel, but I will sing just about anything.  Because I love singing so much, I try to incorporate it into the classroom setting as much as possible. 

I am also an artist.  I love to give my students the oppurtunity to let their creativity shine.  To me, one of the most important attributes of a teacher is one who allows and encourages creativty in the classroom.

After I graduate from Illinois State, I hope to obtain a full-time teaching position in the Central Illinois area.  As a teacher, I will volunteer my time, energy, and efforts to give as much to my district as possible.  I want to become actively involved in extra-curriculars, and create a safe haven for my classroom.
