My name is Jennifer Solak.  I grew up in Streamwood, Illinois with my older brother and my parents.  I graduated from Streamwood High School in 2003 and decided to attend Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.  In the fall of 2003, I started my journey towards obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Education.  In May 2007, I will be graduating from Illinois State University with endorsements in Science, Social Science, and Language Arts.

 

This past year I have had the opportunity to participate in the Pekin Professional Development School.  In this year long internship, I worked with both a third grade and a sixth grade classroom.  This experience has been unforgettable and will help prepare me for my future endeavors.

 

I have learned so much during my four years at Illinois State University.  I am eager to put all my knowledge into my classroom and watch my students develop into life long learners.
