My name is Kelly Galyean.  I have lived in Pekin all of my life.  I am married with two children, Haley and Tyler.  I enjoy spending time and traveling with my family and friends.  I attend many sporting events since my children are involved in baseball, cheerleading and dance.  I also enjoy shopping, gardening and reading a good book.

I decided to go back to school after obtaining a position as a paraprofessional and volunteering in my children’s school.  It has been a long journey but one I have found very inspirational and rewarding.  I find teaching to be one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done.
