    I believe that school is so much more than a place to learn how to read and write.  School is the place where children learn how to act and participate within the world around them.  Hands on learning is a great way for students to experience the enviornment that surrounds them every day.  As a teacher I reach out to every one of my students.  This helps to create a safe and caring environment for my students to learn.  I want to inspire my students to be passionate about learning and about the things they are interested in within their own lives.
