This year has gone by so fast that it is hard to believe my time at Dirksen School has come to an end.  At the beginning of this year I knew that it would fly and graduation would be here before I knew it.  I feel so incredibly fortunate to have been a part of my students' lives. I feel that I have accomplished a lot while working with them.  I have helped to shape them as learners and even as individuals.  In addition, they have truly helped to shape me into the teacher I am becoming.

I cannot imagine my student teaching experience going any other way.  The PDS program has given me a huge head start on my career as a teacher and shown me so much about what it means to truly affect children's lives.  I now feel prepared to face my first year of teaching and any challenges that may present themselves in the future.
