Hello! My name is Jennifer Stalzer. I started my journey towards teaching after graduating from Lincoln-Way Central High School in my hometown of New Lenox in May 2004.

     I had decided my senior year that attending Illinois State University was my goal. ISU is known for having the best teacher education program in the state, and I wished to be part of that legacy.I majored in Elementary Education where I had the great oppurtunity to be led by experienced professors, observe a wide variety of elementary classrooms, create and execute professional lesson plans, and be an intern for the Pekin Professional Development Schools.

     The amount of experience and knowledge that I have obtained from my college years has given me a great sense of pride about my life decision to become a teacher. I feel that my enthuasiam about teaching and also my addiction to active learning will lead me to great accomplishments in my life.
