My name is Laura Pancoast and I have just completed a year long internship in Pekin, Illinois.  I had the opportunity to student teach in both a first and fourth grade classroom and would not give up my experiences for anything in the world. 

I grew up in Wheaton, Illinois and decided to attend Illinois State University because of its reputation in the education field.  Through the many opportunities available at ISU, I grew to be a professional and a teacher at heart.  I graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2008 to start my career and life as an educator.
