Hello! My name is Sallie Traeger. I am from a small town in Central Illinois called Williamsville. I graduated from Williamsville High School in May 2003 and began my Freshman year at Illinois State University the following August in the College of Education. I knew from an early age that I wanted to make an impact on people's lives and what better way to do that than teach?
Throughout my five year experience in the education department at Illinois State University, I have had many memorable experiences. I was educated by the most experienced professors and observed and attained clinical hours in various elementary schools. I joined the Pekin PDS program during the Fall 2007 semester. Upon completing the year long internship, I have found to feel very confident and proud of my ability to teach students at multiple grade levels for my first year of teaching.
I graduate from Illinois State University on May 10, 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. After graduation I will be moving to Albany, New York where I will begin my first year teaching.
